Staff Software Engineer, DevOps

Location: 100% remote within the United States; telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and report to the Houston headquarters.

Salary: $168,675.15–$229,900.00 per year, plus variable incentive pay and benefits.

What you will do

• Establish and operate Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery patterns for software solutions.
• Design and manage secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and IBM Cloud.
• Build and maintain Jenkins and Travis CI pipelines, resolving build and release issues.
• Develop Kubernetes Helm charts, manage version upgrades, and administer Rancher clusters with standardized access controls.
• Implement observability and centralized logging using ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments with Terraform while optimizing cloud costs.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressively responsible experience designing secure and operationally compliant solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, OpenShift, IBM Cloud, IAM, least-privilege access, and security compliance.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud cost management.
