Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote, with potential for hybrid co-working

Salary: $150,000–$210,000 per year plus meaningful stock options; placement depends on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Own the design, development, implementation, and operation of infrastructure and build/release pipelines.
• Deploy infrastructure as code and automation with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Go, and related tools.
• Operate cloud-based CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps, shift-left, and automation-first practices.
• Automate application deployments with Kubernetes and other container and CI/CD technologies.
• Build and package software for cloud, on-premises, air-gapped, and FedRAMP environments.
• Improve observability, secure public endpoints, integrate SDLC security tooling, and collaborate with Product on roadmap direction.

Requirements

• Experience developing and deploying infrastructure as code and automation for platform and customer needs.
• Experience operating cloud-based CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps and shift-left practices.
• Experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Experience with networking, runtime troubleshooting, and complex remote or air-gapped environments.
• Experience building and packaging software for varied runtime environments and integrating DevSecOps tools across the SDLC.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including technical and design documentation; experience with commercial SaaS and on-premises products for external customers.

Nice to have

• Deploying Kubernetes in edge environments, including bare VMs and bare metal.
• Packaging on-premises and edge software with Zarf, Helm charts, Packer, or virtual appliances.
• Securing AWS environments, containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with US Government networks, including FedRAMP and CMMC.
• Experience supporting self-hosted LLMs and secure SDLC practices such as SCA, DAST, SAST, bug bounty programs, and software vulnerability management.
