Senior QA Engineer / Senior Software Test Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, based in Istanbul, Turkey; candidates based in Istanbul are preferred due to in-person collaboration requirements.

What you will do

• Contribute to the end-to-end test strategy for web applications from planning through release.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks with Selenium, Playwright, and Java.
• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows.
• Apply AI tools and agentic architectures to test design, test data generation, code review, defect analysis, and QA automation.
• Perform functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing; track quality metrics and support release-readiness assessments.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and third-party integrators to identify risks and improve testability and product quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software testing experience, including at least 5 years in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright, plus solid Java programming skills.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured, and with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Experience using AI tools for testing and familiarity with agentic systems and AI-driven automation concepts.
• Accommodation in Istanbul; advanced English is required for written and oral communication and interviews. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, ISTQB Foundation certification, and Agile/Scrum experience are also required.

Nice to have

• Mobile test automation experience with Appium, iOS, or Android.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test environments.
• Experience with JMeter or k6 for performance testing.
• ISTQB Advanced Level or CT-AI certification.
