Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent - 1099 Contractor (Virtual) - Mississippi

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning for children and adolescents.
• Provide evidence-based treatment through live 60-minute video intake appointments and regular virtual follow-ups.
• Manage medications for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.
• Engage families in care planning and provide guidance on supportive measures at home.
• Collaborate with therapists, coaches, and other care team members, including through consultation meetings.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation, evaluate outcomes, and follow regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and an active license in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, including demonstrated family engagement skills.
• Computer and live video tool literacy, including platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe, or Skype.
• Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and practice within an accredited framework.
• Telehealth experience is preferred but not required.
