Senior Backend Developer - Platform Identity and Entitlements

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for user management, groups, permissions, licensing, and other core platform capabilities.
• Own services across their lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
• Build reliable and scalable systems while identifying performance, availability, and operational risks.
• Collaborate with development teams to design integrations with platform services and capabilities.
• Monitor production health and performance, investigate incidents, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience in cloud environments and solid Java knowledge.
• Experience designing and maintaining reusable services for large-scale systems with complex infrastructure or significant user bases.
• Experience owning production services, including reliability, performance, deployment, and ongoing evolution.
• Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, independence, and effective collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience developing backend applications with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration systems such as GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Product-oriented mindset.
