Member Team Lead (Retail)

Location: Onsite in Lakeland, Florida, United States

Salary: $21.00–$29.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing feedback, training on procedures, and supporting scheduling, recruiting, coaching, and evaluations.
• Support membership growth by explaining membership types and benefits, processing memberships and upgrades, promoting renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events.
• Deliver member service by assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, supporting self-service technology, processing transactions, and fulfilling pickup orders.
• Oversee front-end and club operations, including claims, returns, merchandise zoning, shrink and damage identification, cart availability, equipment use, and parking lot cleanliness.
• Complete accounting activities, including deposits, cash fund transfers, register reconciliation, financial reports, investigations, and confidential record maintenance.
• Implement process improvements, collaborate with managers and business partners, support compliance and ethics standards, and mentor team members through change.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of retail experience, including operating front-end equipment such as a cash register.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must work onsite at the Lakeland, Florida club location.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a front-end team.
• Supervisory experience with hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workloads.
