Pharmacy Clinical Liaison (Specialty Pharmacy Operations)

Location: Rolla, Missouri, United States; onsite at 1050 W 10th St, Suite 100. Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with health system clients and serve as the clinical pharmacist for specialty medications.
• Support specialty pharmacy operations, including patient enrollment, counseling, clinical programs, and therapeutic journey management.
• Coordinate clinical projects, formulary decisions, billing compliance, revenue capture, and specialty medication processes.
• Provide drug information and resolve drug-related issues for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor accreditation requirements, audits, documentation, service-level metrics, and pharmacy performance.
• Maintain stakeholder communication, escalation protocols, action-item tracking, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing in Missouri and successful completion of the Missouri state pharmacy board examination.
• Current continuing education compliance.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy clinical programs, patient counseling, provider communication, limited distribution products, and patient management programs.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy accreditation, benefits investigation, prior authorizations, REMS programs, controlled-substance regulations, and applicable pharmacy laws.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, prioritization, delegation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Three years of experience in a specialty pharmacy clinical role.
• Three years of pharmacy practice experience in a lead role.
• Experience in oncology, rheumatology, endocrinology, transplant, hepatitis C, HIV, autoimmune disease, or pain management.
