Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is required. No visa support or C2C.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, methods, production plans, and documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and designs for manufacturability and producibility.
• Support the transition of new designs and products from engineering into production.
• Develop tooling, fixtures, equipment, work instructions, assembly instructions, and other manufacturing aids.
• Investigate manufacturing and quality issues through root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management to achieve cost, quality, and schedule objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, or production documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or another highly regulated industry.
• Five or more years of manufacturing or production engineering experience.
• Experience with DoD programs, military platforms, government contracting, CAD, ERP, PLM, or MES systems.
• Experience developing tooling, fixtures, jigs, or other manufacturing aids.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, configuration management, quality systems, NPI, or engineering-to-production transitions.
