Per Diem LPN Wellness Nurse (Senior Living)

Location: Southbury, Connecticut, USA; onsite role

Salary: $34.00–$36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Supervise care staff in accordance with state regulations and community policies.
• Monitor residents’ health, safety, and well-being in assisted living and/or memory care.
• Assist with training and monitoring medication administration.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Promote high-quality resident service and participate in scheduled in-service training.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
• Experience with residents who have Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and apply nursing practices, techniques, and methods.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting or supporting residents weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting.
