Senior NC Programmer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Determine machining operations, develop NC programs, and define tooling and gauging requirements for aerospace parts.
• Prepare NC operation sheets and estimate setup, run, tooling, and design-build hours.
• Solve machining problems and improve processes in NC centers for complex parts.
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineering, design, product, quality, metallurgy, inspection, and production teams.
• Provide technical guidance and input on job evaluations, performance, and appraisals.
• Develop new manufacturing processes and methods for standardization and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of NC programming experience with multiaxis CNC machines.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting complex machining processes on multiaxial or multifunction CNC machines.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; demonstrated equivalent ability may be considered.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California.
• The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
