Assistant Health and Wellness Director (RN)

Location: Wall Township, New Jersey, USA; onsite

Salary: USD 95,000–105,000 yearly; $2,500 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and direct clinical operations for the nursing department in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
• Oversee resident care and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assess residents before move-in and throughout residency, and develop Individual Service Plans according to required timelines.
• Develop wellness programs and coordinate with the Activity Director.
• Maintain resident records, prepare charges and reports, and investigate and resolve resident or family concerns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff; participate in a shared rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license in good standing.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel, and the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, communicate, and perform other physical duties required for resident care.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and provide physical support to residents using proper body mechanics.
