Director of Health and Wellness (Senior Living)

Location: Northbrook, Illinois, USA; onsite role at North Shore Place

Salary: From USD 150,000 yearly

What you will do

• Direct care delivery for assisted living residents and ensure emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs are met.
• Coordinate care conferences, resident assessments, service plans, orientations, and communication with families and staff.
• Manage nursing and assisted living staff, schedules, assignments, training, and required in-services.
• Manage clinical labor costs, supplies, and other budget line items.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, documentation, incident reporting, and readiness for mock surveys.
• Provide 24/7 on-call clinical support and travel locally when resident assessments require it.

Requirements

• Experience managing a clinical team in a senior living or hospital setting.
• LPN/LVN or RN license required, with current CEU and state requirements maintained.
• Experience managing and developing complex teams and coordinating high-level scheduling and care tasks.
• Experience with EMR/EHR clinical documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, technology, and adaptability skills.
