Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Calgary, hybrid

Developing the Brilliant Harvest platform, applying AI to improve how equipment dealers, farmers, and contractors work.

What you will do

• Design, develop, document, and maintain production-ready prototypes, tools, and products.
• Build and maintain ETL tools and pipelines for data extraction and ingestion.
• Expand and improve document ingestion and a RAG-based AI Assistant with the AI architecture team.
• Participate in brainstorming, design reviews, code reviews, and architecture evolution discussions.
• Analyze business requirements, prepare technical recommendations, and estimate development effort.
• Review UI/UX designs and contribute to cross-functional collaboration and continuous practice improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a full stack or backend developer with strong ETL skills.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core ecosystem, with strong experience in Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with unit and API testing using xUnit, Postman, or comparable tools.
• Experience developing applications with LLM APIs such as GPT, including efficient use of LLM tooling.
• Experience with LangChain, vector databases, Git, and Agile development environments such as Azure DevOps.
• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code and take ideas from conception to production.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or React Native.
• Experience with TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, CSS, or Node.js.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Redis Cache, Docker, or Kubernetes.
