Location: Onsite at Ardent - Bailey Medical Center in Owasso, Oklahoma; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $18.65–$19.90 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

  • Perform patient admissions, assign medical record numbers, collect demographic and insurance information, and process physician orders.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, select insurance plan codes, support pre-registration, and contribute to clean-claim processing.
  • Screen medical necessity using Advanced Beneficiary Notice software and explain consent, Medicare, observation, and patient education forms.
  • Collect point-of-service payments, manage past-due balances and payment plans, and conduct account audits and quality reporting.
  • Develop training materials, provide continuing education, and create staff schedules for the patient access department.
  • Provide after-hours support through an on-call rotation and cover unscheduled staffing needs when required.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant job experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle operations, including admissions, billing, payments, and denials.
  • Knowledge of patient insurance processes, authorizations, benefits verification, health insurance requirements, medical terminology, or CPT and procedure codes.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Owasso, Oklahoma, and reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work the ER Lead Monday–Friday, 13:30–22:00 shift and participate in an on-call rotation.
