Location: Hybrid role based in Washington State; candidates must reside in the Olympia, Tacoma, Edmonds, Port Angeles, Bellingham, or Vancouver area. The role requires 3–4 days per week in the community with regular regional travel and the remainder in a home-based remote office. A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and acceptable automobile insurance are required.
Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually, plus a $750 monthly vehicle allowance; total cash compensation is $69,000–$74,000, with a target performance-based bonus.

What you will do
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community agencies, correctional facilities, treatment facilities, and other referral partners.
- Grow enrollment in assigned regions through systematic outreach, referral development, and partner account management.
- Lead marketing presentations and community education sessions in person and virtually.
- Track outreach effectiveness, referral activity, enrollment results, and productivity metrics.
- Identify expansion opportunities and develop strategies for assigned areas.
- Coordinate regional projects and create 6–12 month statewide plans with clinical staff and leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in community outreach, business development or sales, and/or referral management within healthcare or hospital systems.
- Strong account management, partner engagement, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM and Google Workspace.
- Residence in one of the specified Washington areas and reliable transportation for regular field-based outreach.
- Ability to work autonomously, maintain high ethical standards, and work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
- A dedicated private workspace with a lockable door and high-speed internet is required for handling sensitive information and HIPAA-related work.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of or passion for substance use disorder care.
- Experience in hospital discharge planning, case management, behavioral health, or digital outreach and advocacy.
- Experience with large safety-net hospitals in the region.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
