Manufacturing Lead (Medical Devices)

Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States; on-site manufacturing role

Salary: $48,000–$66,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing, assembly, packaging, labeling, sterilization preparation, and related production processes for medical devices.
• Plan production schedules, create work orders, lead Tier 1 meetings, and perform transactions in the ERP system.
• Run daily activities for a designated production area and provide backup leadership for at least one additional process.
• Train, coach, and mentor Manufacturing Technicians on GDP, GMP, SOPs, safety, and quality requirements.
• Operate production equipment such as sealers, autoclaves, pumps, scales, and stir plates while maintaining clean-room and GMP standards.
• Escalate operational issues, maintain training records, distribute supplies, and support production-area cleaning and safety compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of manufacturing experience, or an associate degree and 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ERP systems; experience with GME or JDE is preferred.
• Basic English written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to understand safety instructions, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to stand or sit for at least 8 hours, lift up to 25 pounds individually or 65 pounds with a team lift, and work with required PPE.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with GME or JDE ERP systems.
• Certification or cross-training in Aseptic Process, Solutions, Flow Coupler Probe Insertion, or additional manufacturing areas.
