Manufacturing Technician II - (T2) 2nd Shift (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Austin, TX; onsite cleanroom and manufacturing environment

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and error correction using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to verify equipment and components.
• Document progress, labor details, work expenses, completed work, test results, and repairs in computer systems.
• Receive and inspect parts, audit inventory availability, identify defects, and support process improvements.
• Follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment in the cleanroom and manufacturing areas.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Austin, Texas.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift and perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to distinguish colors, work around significant noise, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate or drive heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to wear cleanroom personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields when required.
• Analytical and communication skills, with the ability to solve routine problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
