Chef Manager (B&I) (Hospitality)

Location: Guelph, Ontario, Canada; onsite food service leadership role

Salary: CAD 60,000–75,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily menu execution, catering, special events, and high-volume food service operations.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portioning, cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization.
• Coach, mentor, onboard, and develop culinary and service professionals.
• Build relationships with customers and client stakeholders while maintaining a visible presence in the operation.
• Use feedback to improve the food program and customer experience.
• Manage food costs, labour, inventory, purchasing, and operational administration.

Requirements

• Experienced culinary leader with a passion for food quality, presentation, and hospitality.
• Hands-on coaching and team leadership experience.
• Experience in high-volume food service operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, inventory, purchasing, and cost management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational management systems.
• Red Seal certification or professional culinary training is an asset.
