Buyer (Hybrid)

Salary: $61,220–$82,309 per year

What you will do

• Plan, generate, adjust, and expedite purchase orders based on field requisitions, project information, drawing take-offs, BOMs/BOEs, and inventory strategies.
• Track purchase orders and identify delivery problems, delays, impacts, and constraints.
• Communicate purchasing issues and project impacts to the Planner and Project Manager.
• Maintain daily communication with suppliers to support on-time delivery and accurate system data.
• Manage ordering parameters and provide suppliers with site access maps and relevant transportation and communication information.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of experience in purchasing, planning, or a related supply chain function.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers, purchase orders, materials, and delivery requirements for construction projects.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Avon, Minnesota, United States.

Nice to have

• APICS or another relevant certification.
• Understanding of supplier sourcing strategies, terms and conditions, and supported commodity markets.
