Supervisor, Client Operations (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, USA; ability to travel is required.

Salary: $24–$2,826 per hour as listed.

What you will do

• Manage the efficient operation of assigned client accounts and answer day-to-day questions from clients and Release of Information Specialists.
• Schedule onsite staff, approve payroll, distribute workflows, coordinate coverage, and support remote supervisors.
• Train and evaluate staff and assist with interviewing, hiring, counseling, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Monitor productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, revenue goals, and operational performance through dashboards and site evaluations.
• Review release-of-information requests, validate authorizations, retrieve and scan medical records, document releases, and prepare records for delivery.
• Calculate billing, prepare invoices, maintain supplies, submit travel expenses, and protect confidential facility information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; some college is preferred.
• RHIT certification or the ability to pass an ROI Certification course with a score of at least 85% within 90 days is required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
• Effective communication with clients, staff members, and management.
• Ability to travel; experience with medical records or healthcare and medical terminology coursework are beneficial.
