Claims Analyst - Leave & Disability

Location: Hybrid; must reside near a Voya location in Minneapolis, MN; Windsor, CT; Atlanta, GA; or Charleston, SC.

Salary: $50,200–$62,750 USD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Analyze and determine claim payments accurately and within required timelines.
• Make decisions on non-complex short-term disability and other leave claims.
• Guide claimants through leave processes with empathy, clarity, and professional communication.
• Manage assigned work queues according to service-level agreements.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support cross-functional problem-solving.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and additional projects.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience managing FMLA or unpaid leave claims.
• At least 2 years of experience managing short-term disability or paid leave claims.
• Experience with medical or vocational management.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize work, maintain accuracy, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
