Claims Analyst - Leave & Disability

Location: Hybrid; must reside near a Voya location in the United States. Listed locations include Minneapolis, Minnesota; Windsor, Connecticut; Atlanta, Georgia; and Charleston, South Carolina.

Salary: $50,200–$62,750 USD annually.

What you will do

• Analyze and determine claim payments accurately and promptly.
• Make decisions on non-complex short-term disability claims.
• Guide claimants through leave processes with empathy and clarity.
• Communicate professionally with claimants and internal and external stakeholders by phone and email.
• Manage assigned work queues within defined service-level agreements.
• Participate in team-based problem-solving, continuous improvement, and additional projects.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in FMLA or unpaid leave claims management.
• Two years of experience in short-term disability or paid leave claims management.
• Knowledge of medical and vocational management.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
