Program Coordinator, Clinical Education Interior (RIH)

Location: hirify.global Hospital Site, Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; this position is based in Kamloops, BC

Salary: CAD 4,836.00–5,547.00 per month

hirify.global Faculty of Medicine delivers distributed undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in partnership with universities, hospitals, and health authorities across British Columbia’s Interior region.

What you will do

• Coordinate distributed Internal Medicine postgraduate education and other postgraduate and undergraduate medical education activities.
• Support the design and launch of the new Interior Internal Medicine program planned for July 2027.
• Develop and maintain resident, student, elective, call, academic session, and rotation schedules across distributed sites.
• Coordinate evaluations, assessments, remediation documentation, accreditation activities, and learner records.
• Act as a primary contact for residents, students, faculty, preceptors, hospital administrators, and external partners.
• Support budgets, reimbursements, teaching payments, meetings, recruitment events, orientations, examinations, and educational technology.

Requirements

• High school graduation and two years of post-secondary education, with at least three years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Strong written and verbal communication, diplomacy, organization, project planning, problem-solving, judgment, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently in a dynamic clinical education environment.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn medical education systems and databases, including One45, RMS, and Workday.
• Ability to work from the Kamloops-based hospital site, travel to education and hospital or clinic sites, and work outside regular business hours when required.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with One45, the Resident Management System, and Workday.
• Familiarity with rural and urban communities throughout the Interior and other British Columbia regional health authorities.
