Manufacturing Associate I

Location: Onsite in Galax, Virginia, United States

Salary: $16.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete basic electrical assembly operations using manufacturing documentation.
• Perform electrical testing with automated test equipment.
• Solder, read blueprints, and use microscopes during manufacturing operations.
• Store, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals, including checking calibration dates and seals.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly for each part.
• Perform minor rework according to standard procedures, quality history tag instructions, and rework routers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions and training.
• Ability to understand work instructions and training in English.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Quality-conscious approach, mechanical aptitude, and good manual dexterity.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information may be required.

Nice to have

• Soldering experience.
