Quality Assurance Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska, United States; ability to live in Lincoln during summer 2027 is prioritized

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile features.
• Design test plans and document feature quality throughout development.
• Identify edge cases and own quality assessment end to end.
• Use AI-powered and conventional tools to monitor, diagnose, and evaluate software quality.
• Assess deployment readiness for features used by millions of users.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree program in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering.
• Coding experience with languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Curiosity, empathy, and the ability to think critically about user experiences.
• Experience with or comfort working on a team over multiple weeks.
• Passion for software and interest in emerging hardware and technology solutions.
• Ability to live in Lincoln, Nebraska, during the 2027 summer internship is prioritized.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, TestRail, Jira, smoke testing, regression testing, and the testing pyramid.
