Staff Systems Engineer (Autonomous Driving)

What you will do

• Lead the technical excellence of the Metrics for Release and Hardware-in-the-Loop groups.
• Architect scalable platforms for validating autonomous driving software, including distributed compute orchestration, telemetry pipelines, and downstream results delivery.
• Integrate self-driving components and subsystems for deployment onto Hardware-in-the-Loop benches.
• Maintain requirements traceability and map requirements to verification tests throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop automated testing pipelines and requirements for new tools and automation.
• Track system performance KPIs, influence engineering standards, and mentor engineers across multiple teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with 4 years of related systems engineering experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Experience with systems engineering tools such as Jama and Cameo for architecture and requirements management.
• Experience planning and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and implementing CI/CD automation.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, KPI reporting, and troubleshooting robotic, autonomous, or automotive systems.
• Programming experience in Python, C++, and ROS.
• Experience with CAN-based vehicle networking.
