Engineering Effectiveness Manager

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid with regular in-office presence three days per week

Salary: $131,000–$169,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead delivery of major cross-engineering initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies, stakeholder communication, outcomes, and blockers.
• Design and operationalize learning, onboarding, skill-development, and emerging-technology enablement programs.
• Plan and facilitate engineering-wide forums, kickoffs, all-hands meetings, internal demos, roundtables, technical showcases, and technology communications.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that reduce friction and improve consistency.
• Build dashboards, metrics frameworks, and communication channels that provide visibility into progress, engineering health, and blockers.
• Partner with recruiting and people teams on technical hiring, employer positioning, onboarding, early-career development, and Product Development Lifecycle enablement.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in program management, delivery, operations, or a similar role in a technical environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and driving execution in matrixed environments.
• Experience designing and implementing learning and development or engineering enablement programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, facilitation, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making and defining or tracking metrics.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular in-office presence three days per week in New York City.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with product development tools and processes such as CI/CD, Jira, and GitHub.
