Technical Project Manager II - New Glenn 9x4 (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own the artifacts required to move assigned work centers from design into sustained production.
• Create readiness, escalation, support-needs, and achievement reports for executive leadership.
• Track design releases, make-or-buy parts, tooling, work orders, non-conformances, and production-start requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and program leadership on budgets, schedules, procurement, and program status.
• Support subject matter experts during builds and transition products from concept into development.
• Communicate risks and risk-abatement plans to management.

Requirements

• Project management experience in a technical environment.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and balancing internal and external schedules.
• Proactive approach, strong bias for action, and ability to build professional relationships.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace.
• Experience with fabrication vendors and assembly or integration of spacecraft or launch vehicles.
• Experience with CAD and PLM software.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
