Security Specialist (IAM)

Location: Columbus, OH; on-site five days per week

Salary: $74,551.00–$93,188.50 per year

What you will do

• Process user access requests, including account and entitlement provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning.
• Create and maintain Active Directory groups, service accounts, and password safes according to security standards.
• Support end users and business partners with access management requests, processes, and incidents.
• Maintain identity lifecycle activities, documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Use basic PowerShell scripting and SQL queries for administration, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in access reviews, audits, IAM projects, on-call rotations, and after-hours support.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and access control concepts.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory user accounts, groups, and access administration.
• Basic proficiency in PowerShell scripting and SQL queries.
• Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree with one year of relevant experience; or a high school diploma/GED with two years of relevant experience; or an approved cybersecurity program or demonstrated technical ability.
• CISSP certification is listed as a requirement.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week in Columbus, OH, during standard business hours, with rotating on-call and occasional extended or shift work.

Nice to have

• Experience with privileged access management platforms such as CyberArk or HashiCorp.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Splunk, QRadar, or Semperis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
