UABOS Spain: Quality Assurance Technician (AGE)

Location: Morón Air Base, Spain

What you will do

• Serve as the primary quality assurance authority for AGE and WRM maintenance, cryogenics, welding and corrosion control, HAZMAT, PMEL/TMDE, material control, and production control.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, audits, surveillance, and records validation.
• Ensure compliance with PWS requirements, military technical orders, safety directives, and applicable regulations.
• Investigate non-compliance issues, identify root causes, and lead corrective action plans with the WRM Manager and government COR.
• Use ELMS, IMDS, G081, PAMS, TCMax, and quality management systems to verify equipment status, records, and data integrity.
• Train and mentor personnel, document QA activities, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and hold a US Secret Security Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• At least eight years of experience in aircraft maintenance, ground support equipment, or a related technical field.
• At least three years of dedicated QA or QC experience in a military or civilian aviation environment.
• Experience interpreting government contract requirements, military technical orders, and federal or local regulations.
• Experience with maintenance databases, inventory control systems, or QMS platforms.

Nice to have

• USAF AGE or formal USAF quality assurance experience.
• Experience with ELMS, IMDS, G081, PAMS, TCMax, IBM Maximo, SAP, or equivalent systems.
• Experience working with government CORs and responding to corrective action requests.
• Maintenance, inspection, auditing, or safety management certifications.
• Experience with DAFI 21-101, aviation safety, heavy diesel engines, electrical circuitry, HVAC, towing, or forklift operation.
