Principal Rotating Equipment Design Engineer (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Lead a team of up to 10 mechanical engineers and designers.
• Develop discipline work plans and provide technical leadership to project teams and client representatives.
• Review and check rotating equipment data sheets, specifications, technical bids, and packaged equipment documentation.
• Perform compressor configuration, driver selection, life-cycle cost, specialty equipment configuration, material handling, and RAM studies.
• Maintain the design integrity of the mechanical scope and ensure delivery on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore, and/or infrastructure industries.
• Proven experience designing and specifying rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, seals, specialty equipment, and utility equipment.
• Experience with FEED and detailed engineering for medium- to large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of design and construction practices, procedures, and industry standards including ASME, ANSI, NFPA, API, ISA, and NEC.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment and turbomachinery systems, installation, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and procedures.
