Senior Mechanical Inspectors (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Inspect pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping systems, and mechanical components against project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform welding inspections, including visual checks, dimensional verification, and defect identification.
• Conduct in-service inspection, assessment, and certification of pressure vessels and storage tanks.
• Review fabrication, erection, and maintenance procedures against engineering drawings and applicable standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective-action recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC teams, and contractors, while mentoring junior inspectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 10 years of relevant inspection experience, or an industrial/technical college diploma with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• AWS SCWI or CSWIP 3.2 certification is mandatory.
• Knowledge of international standards, quality-system standards, and inspection methods.
• API 510 and API 653 certifications are preferred.
• Experience with mechanical inspections in the oil and gas industry.
