Mechanical Welding Inspector

What you will do

• Perform hold, witness, and surveillance inspections at manufacturing facilities and construction sites.
• Inspect materials, equipment, handling, storage, and protection for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
• Monitor contractor quality systems, records, personnel, and document submittals.
• Witness on-site and off-site material and installation tests against applicable standards.
• Record non-compliant practices, materials, and equipment and report potential issues for resolution.
• Prepare inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports, Worksheets, and Equipment Deficiency Reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a relevant inspection discipline with at least four years of relevant experience, or a two-year industrial or technical college diploma with at least eight years of relevant inspection experience.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP Welding Inspector certification is required.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable international standards, including API 570.
• Ability to work safely, maintain confidentiality, follow ethical standards, and produce accurate inspection documentation.
