Mechanical Piping Inspector (API 570)

What you will do

• Perform hold, witness, and surveillance inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities and construction sites.
• Inspect materials and equipment for compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements for handling, storage, and protection.
• Monitor contractor quality systems, records, and quality personnel.
• Review contractor quality document submittals and witness material and installation tests.
• Document non-compliant construction practices, materials, and equipment, and report potential issues for early resolution.
• Prepare inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports, Worksheets, and Equipment Deficiency Reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a relevant inspection discipline and at least 4 years of relevant inspection experience, or a 2-year industrial or technical college diploma and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector or CSWIP Welding Inspector certification required.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable international standards and knowledge of API 570.
• Ability to work safely, maintain confidentiality, and follow professional ethics and hirify.global integrity standards.
• Work is based in Saudi Arabia and includes activities at manufacturing facilities and construction sites.
