What you will do

• Manage paint department operations and directly oversee assigned plant associates.
• Maintain production materials, paint equipment, fixtures, spray booths, and cure ovens.
• Prepare, mix, and apply coatings, including masking parts and setting bake or cure oven controls.
• Verify paint viscosity, film thickness, surface coverage, and finished-part quality.
• Monitor safety procedures, PPE, grounding, housekeeping, and compliance with plant policies.
• Support cross-training, 5-S initiatives, continuous improvement, quality, efficiency, and on-time deliveries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience leading and mentoring 3–6 associates in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years of experience with spray paint application in industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industrial robotics and PaintPro software for FANUC robots.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift or move items over 50 pounds while using required PPE.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2K, solvent-based, water-based, or powder paints.
