Field Operations Specialist

Location: Montréal, Canada; on-site support and frequent travel to AIM facilities are required.

What you will do

• Provide on-site technical support across offices, factories, sorting centers, and other industrial facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving workstations, printers, business software, endpoints, and local network connectivity.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment, network devices, and infrastructure.
• Support system migrations, network upgrades, site openings, and equipment rollouts.
• Perform LAN, WLAN, VPN, wired, and wireless network troubleshooting, including switch and router configuration under supervision.
• Document incidents and changes and collaborate with L1, L2, and L3 support teams.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in IT field support or technical support, preferably in an industrial or multisite environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud applications.
• Hands-on experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and access points, plus knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, WAN/LAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel are required.
• French and English bilingualism is required.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG or SolarWinds.
