What you will do
- Identify AI opportunities with business stakeholders across global business units.
- Structure AI use cases by defining business problems, expected value, feasibility, data needs, and technical approaches.
- Support prioritization, business-case development, proof-of-concepts, pilots, and the scaling of successful initiatives.
- Act as the functional link between stakeholders and data engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, prepare datasets, and create reports, dashboards, prototypes, and business insights.
- Build and maintain analytics solutions using Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, and low-code automation tools.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in ICT, data science, economics, business engineering, engineering, or a related field.
- Initial practical experience in data analytics, AI, business analysis, data preparation, reporting, or process improvement.
- Basic hands-on skills in at least one relevant tool, such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure data services.
- Structured and analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong communication skills for working with both business stakeholders and technical experts.
- Fluent English required; Dutch and/or French are a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience building Power BI dashboards, SQL queries, Python scripts or notebooks, Microsoft Fabric items, or Azure data solutions.
- Understanding of data modelling, data quality, APIs, workflow automation, or responsible AI principles.
- Experience translating business questions into analytical approaches, use cases, dashboards, or proof-of-concepts.
- Interest in industrial processes, international business, or business transformation.
