Transportation Yard Coordinator (Customer Onsite)

Location: 2764 Anvilblock Road, Ellenwood, GA; daily travel between Atlanta HUB warehouses is required. The role involves walking outdoor yards and working in all weather conditions.

What you will do

• Perform daily yard checks across ATL warehouses and verify equipment dispositions.
• Maintain accurate trailer and container inventory in the PINC yard management system.
• Ensure equipment is tagged when entering warehouse yards and report assets requiring repair.
• Coordinate with yard jockeys to capture trailers several times per day.
• Monitor yard capacity, trailer turns, and fleet utilization while proposing solutions to keep yards operating efficiently.
• Coordinate with carriers, service providers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve transportation operations.

Requirements

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1–2 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Business tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Gmail, Drive, and Google Docs.
• High school diploma or relevant industry experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, spend most of the time walking yards, and travel daily between the Atlanta HUB network.

Nice to have

• Experience in transportation load planning, yard management, or fleet management.
• Experience with yard management systems such as Yardview or PINC.
