hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Review tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, and trusts for accuracy, completeness, documentation, signatures, and filing deadlines.
• Research complex tax matters and apply accounting principles, tax law, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to tax preparers and act as an escalation point for complex questions.
• Communicate with clients by phone and email to gather information and review accounting and tax matters.
• Obtain filing extensions, assist with tax planning and business strategy, and maintain compliance with firm policies.
• Train and supervise junior staff while maintaining technical tax knowledge through internal training.

• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA required; JD or Enrolled Agent is acceptable in lieu.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Work is remote and the listed role location is Denver, Colorado.
