Credit Analyst I (Fixed Income Investments)

Location: New Haven, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $83,700–$148,000 per year when the work is performed in Connecticut.

What you will do

• Research and evaluate potential fixed income investments and markets.
• Analyze financial data from corporate statements, databases, and Wall Street firms.
• Prepare and present credit reports to the portfolio manager and Credit Team.
• Monitor industry and sector developments and provide input for relative value opinions and exposure recommendations.
• Analyze watch-list issues quarterly and prepare write-ups for committee review.
• Maintain relationships with sell-side research analysts, attend Wall Street conferences, and communicate with company officials and other research analysts.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
• Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong personal computer skills.
• BA or BS degree in finance.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for most of the workday.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
