Credit Analyst I (Fixed Income)

Location: Hybrid in New Haven, Connecticut, United States; authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $83,700–$148,000 annually when the role is performed in Connecticut.

What you will do

• Research and evaluate fixed income investments, markets, and potential new issues.
• Analyze financial data from corporate statements, databases, and Wall Street firms.
• Prepare and present credit reports to the portfolio manager and Credit Team.
• Monitor industry and sector developments and provide input on relative value and investment exposure.
• Review watch list issues quarterly and prepare committee reports.
• Maintain relationships with sell-side research analysts and attend Wall Street conferences.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in finance.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong personal computer skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• MBA or progress toward an MBA.
• CFA qualification or progress toward it.
• Knowledge of database software.
