Research Analyst - Non-Investment Grade Credit

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Salary: $95,000–$135,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

hirify.global manages high-yield and leveraged-loan assets through a platform of Research Analysts, Traders, and Portfolio Managers.

What you will do

• Identify and implement investment ideas across covered sectors.
• Evaluate industry trends and convert them into actionable investment recommendations.
• Prepare financial models, credit and industry analyses, written credit reports, and credit review presentations.
• Build and maintain management and industry relationships within covered industries.
• Work with Portfolio Managers and colleagues to support portfolio outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of relevant sell-side or buy-side research experience in the leveraged credit market.
• Strong accounting, financial modeling, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently evaluate investment ideas and take ownership of investment performance.
• Strong academic credentials and achievement.
• Must already have authorization and the right to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within six months of joining.
