What you will do

• Lead and execute automated place-and-route activities from floorplanning through GDSII tapeout.
• Develop physical design automation solutions for timing and design closure, data extraction, QoR monitoring, ECO automation, and physical verification analysis.
• Improve design flows, physical design methodologies, productivity, and design quality.
• Perform floorplanning, partitioning, power planning, power integrity, placement and routing optimization, CTS, timing closure, signal integrity analysis, physical verification, ECO implementation, and design signoff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex physical design challenges and support project execution through tapeout.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in automated place and route and physical design.
• Strong experience with industry-standard physical design tools and methodologies.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Tcl, Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with LEC/CLP checks, timing closure, QoR monitoring, ECO automation, and physical verification analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and independent execution skills.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export-control requirements.
