IT Procurement Specialist (AI)

Location: Helsinki, Finland or London, United Kingdom; hybrid mode with 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own procurement of hardware, software, services, and other IT requirements across the hirify.global group.
• Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, vendor relationships, subscriptions, and commercial commitments.
• Assess vendors and solutions from commercial, operational, security, and compliance perspectives.
• Improve procurement and vendor-management processes while reducing unnecessary cost and complexity.
• Work with IT, Security, Finance, People, and other teams to translate business requirements into suitable procurement decisions.
• Gather information from suppliers, negotiate terms, resolve issues, and support budgets and operational projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end IT procurement experience.
• Strong commercial judgment, attention to detail, organisation, ownership, and follow-through.
• Ability to assess value beyond the lowest price and manage contracts, pricing, cataloguing, and commercial terms.
• Ability to build relationships with vendors and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working independently, making decisions with incomplete information, and improving processes as requirements change.
• Good written and spoken English; full-time permanent employment in a hybrid office-based role.

Nice to have

• Experience procuring hardware and working with international IT procurement pipelines.
• Familiarity with IT vendor risk management and procurement or vendor-management systems.
• Experience working with IT, Security, Finance, or Legal teams.
• Experience in a technology, cloud, SaaS, or rapidly scaling company.
• Understanding of information security and compliance in technology procurement.
