Paint Section Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee, United States; onsite plant-based role

What you will do

• Create daily Paint operations plans and provide start-up meeting information to line leaders.
• Manage training for Paint operators, technicians, and line leaders, while mentoring and coaching production staff.
• Verify raw material availability, report shortages, and ensure efficient use of materials and supplies.
• Manage Paint quality systems, monitor products for quality issues, and respond to internal customer concerns.
• Track daily targets for safety, quality, cost, idle time, UPH, and 5S while enforcing plant policies and FI-11 standards.
• Coordinate with production planning, PM and AGV technicians, and other functional departments; maintain payroll and apply corrective actions as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 5+ years of production experience.
• Experience mentoring or coaching operators.
• Strong understanding of complex equipment production, system integration, manufacturing methods, and process improvements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, evaluation, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• Occasional international travel is required.
