Technical Lead (Cloud & Cyber)

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop Technical Service Architects and support the career development of Principal Consultants and Architects.
• Own technical standards, reference architectures, design governance and quality assurance across strategic projects and managed services.
• Provide technical assurance for secure, compliant, resilient and supportable customer solutions.
• Oversee customer technical roadmaps, service improvement plans and technical debt reduction across strategic accounts.
• Develop and define new service offerings, including technical scope, standards, support models, documentation and delivery requirements.
• Act as a senior technical advisor in customer governance forums, bids, proposals, service design and complex technical escalations.

Requirements

• Proven technical leadership experience in an IT consultancy, MSP or customer-facing technology environment.
• Significant experience in technical consulting, architecture or engineering, including several years in a leadership role.
• Broad knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, digital workplace, cybersecurity, resilience and managed services.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, Microsoft Defender/Sentinel, NCSC, NIST, ISO 27001 and ITIL-aligned service management.
• ITIL v4 Foundation and relevant senior Microsoft certifications such as SC-100, MS-102 or AZ-305.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as energy, public sector or financial services.
• Experience building or scaling technical teams, capabilities or service offerings.
• Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell, Bicep or Terraform.
• Additional Microsoft, TOGAF, CISSP or ITIL certifications.
