Vertical Lead, Policy & National Security

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with regular customer on-site work as required. Candidates must be within commuting distance of the London hub.

What you will do

• Own the technical approach for vertical capture efforts, including technical volumes, proposal content, and supporting materials.
• Partner with commercial leadership on product-market fit, solution architecture, customer outcomes, and pipeline expansion.
• Own architecture and delivery for accounts from scoping through deployment across PaaS and SaaS environments.
• Lead solution design with Engineering, Product & Design, and Platform Operations, including last-mile product development.
• Direct Implementation Delivery Managers, staff accounts according to complexity, and maintain customer support and feedback processes.
• Own hiring, resource allocation, team development, performance management, and technical quality across the vertical.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience across enterprise or solution architecture, deployment, product development, and leadership of complex customer-facing deployments.
• Deep public sector experience, ideally in defence, intelligence, or national security.
• Solution architecture experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, data engineering, system integrations, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, REST APIs, SSO/SAML, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience hiring, developing, and leading technical delivery teams and partnering with commercial teams on pre-sales, capture, and expansion.
• Must be based in the UK, have the right to work in the United Kingdom, and be able to work on-site with customers as required.
• Must hold, or be eligible and willing to obtain, UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
