Senior Manager Group Accounting & IFRS (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and professional services across 20 countries.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue and related accounts.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements under IFRS and HGB.
• Coordinate group reporting, consolidation, and internal and external reporting requirements.
• Develop accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and technical accounting memos.
• Support audits and improve financial systems and processes through automation and scalable cloud-first solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in software or professional services.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and HGB, including financial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation.
• Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Fluent English and German required.
