Director of Provider Onboarding

Location: New York City only; in-person work 3–4 days per week in the Gramercy office, with some remote flexibility.

What you will do

• Own provider activation from signed offer through the provider’s first patient across dietitian, medical, and therapy provider types.
• Diagnose onboarding funnel bottlenecks and build systems and processes that improve activation metrics over time.
• Manage and grow the Provider Onboarding Associate team, including hiring, ramping, coaching, performance expectations, and accountability.
• Design the onboarding operating model using CRM, sequencing, and LMS tools, including automation of low-value touchpoints.
• Build Medical and Therapy onboarding motions from scratch while defining shared and provider-specific infrastructure.
• Develop capacity, headcount, and ROI models and partner with Recruiting, Provider Strategy, Provider Enablement, Credentialing, People, and Product.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience, ideally in a marketplace, provider network, or high-growth startup.
• Experience owning a critical funnel metric end-to-end and structurally improving funnel performance.
• Experience building and leading a frontline operations team with performance management and accountability systems.
• Strong systems and automation instincts, including judgment about which human touchpoints can be replaced with AI.
• Comfort with cohort analysis, caseload modeling, capacity planning, and ROI analysis.
• Must be based in New York City and able to work in person 3–4 days per week.
