Ecommerce Assistant

Location: Hybrid attendance at Head Office in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom; this is not a fully remote role.

What you will do

• Write accurate, engaging, and SEO-friendly product descriptions in line with the brand tone.
• Manage uploads for new products, launches, and restocks according to agreed timelines.
• Update category and collection copy to improve organic visibility and website performance.
• Complete daily site checks and escalate issues with pricing, imagery, descriptions, or broken links.
• Support onsite updates, promotions, brand launches, and basic visual merchandising tasks.
• Coordinate product onboarding with Creative, Buying, and Merchandising teams and assist with ecommerce projects.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce concise and longer-form copy.
• Interest in SEO and how copy contributes to successful ecommerce trading.
• Strong time management, prioritisation, multitasking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining accurate and consistent product information.
• Ability to attend the Head Office in Greater Manchester on a hybrid basis.
