Product Counsel (Crypto)

What you will do

• Act as primary legal counsel for at least two designated product verticals, supporting development, launch, and ongoing governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate product documentation, user terms, and commercial agreements to regulated-grade standards.
• Advise on product structuring, innovation, and regulatory considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with product managers, business leads, compliance, and risk teams to identify legal issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support global and regional legal projects and respond to legal and regulatory developments.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues within the Product Legal team.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted in a leading common law or civil law jurisdiction, with strong academic credentials.
• 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in financial services, technology, or a top-tier law firm.
• Experience with margin lending, derivatives, trading, structured products, fintech, or crypto.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex financial or technology product terms and user-facing documentation.
• Knowledge of digital-asset regulatory frameworks; experience with ADGM/FSRA, ESMA, FCA, MAS, or equivalent regulators is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal English, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently across time zones and cultures.

• Additional languages relevant to APAC or the Middle East.
